Hi! My name is Kelby.
While studying Health and Exercise Science in college, I discovered the vastness and beauty of the human body.
During this time, I decided to take my first 200 hour training in hatha yoga. It was in yoga that I found my passion for the body's amazing ability to heal. This empowering practice fulfilled me like no other practice on many different levels: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. After some time of teaching and self-study, I decided to take my next training, completing 500 hours in therapeutic yoga studies. My training in therapeutic yoga has allowed me to work with people of all ages and life stages. I've seen the benefits of being more mindful, calm, and having greater self-esteem in children and teens. I've also worked with athletic teams to encourage proper mechanics and conscious relaxation. Team yoga sessions also provide a non-competitive platform to come together off the field. I am also certified to teach Prenatal Yoga, which is a beautiful time in life to slow down and connect inward. Much of my training has also included yoga for seniors and chair yoga, for those who cannot comfortably come to the ground level. I believe that we as human beings have an amazing ability to heal on all levels. My goal is to help assist this process while empowering others to explore their true nature. |
